Rangeline: LSD & Land GPS

About this app

Find a Legal Subdivision and convert Western Canadian legal land descriptions to GPS, or GPS coordinates back to a land description. Search an LSD, quarter section, UWI well identifier, coordinate, street address or place name. You can also tap the map or use What LSD am I on. Results always identify their source: official ATS and DLS positions where bundled data is available, and approximate grid estimates elsewhere. TRY THE REAL FIELD TOOL The free app includes one lookup each day and one saved location. The map, official and approximate labels, coordinate formats, navigation, field reports and portable backups remain available. RANGELINE PRO Every Pro option opens the complete tool: • Unlimited lookups • Unlimited saved locations • Drive Mode with a live legal location display • Batch import for a complete field list • KML export for Google Earth • Field Links between saved places with distance and bearing Choose monthly, yearly or Lifetime. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in the Apple Account settings. Lifetime is one payment and never renews. There are no ads or accounts. BUILT FOR WESTERN CANADIAN FIELD WORK • Offline legal land description conversion • Official source and approximate results clearly distinguished • Map tap, current position and coordinate reverse lookup • Section and LSD orientation outlines • Decimal, DMS and UTM coordinate formats • Distance and bearing from your current location • Field Links between two saved places with a shareable handoff • Navigation with Apple Maps, Google Maps or Waze • Favourites and history with names, field tags and search • GPX, CSV and structured field report export • Merge safe portable backup and restore • Adaptive iPhone and iPad layouts LSD means Legal Subdivision, a unit of the Dominion Land Survey and Alberta Township System used for rural land, wells and lease sites in Western Canada. Location conversion happens on your device and your location is never attached to a support message. If you contact support, the message may include app version, build, bundle id, device type, system version and locale diagnostics. Data sources include Government of Alberta and provincial open data under their applicable licences. Results are reference estimates. Verify critical locations against official records. Official Alberta and Manitoba land data is now clearly distinguished from labelled estimates elsewhere. Monthly, yearly and Lifetime each open the same complete Pro field tool: unlimited lookups and saved places, Drive Mode, batch import, KML export and Field Links. Every map style is available free. Field guides explain land formats and live readings. Saved records now have searchable names and field tags. Timestamped exports avoid overwriting earlier files. Existing customers keep every tool they already had.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
