ReadAid is a “read text clearly” tool designed for people with visual impairments and low vision. Using your camera or imported images, it quickly recognizes text and reads it aloud, making it easier to access important information in everyday life. Key Features Real-time recognition: Point at text to recognize it instantly for immediate reading. Photo recognition: Import images from your album to extract text more conveniently. Text-to-speech: Reads the recognized text aloud, freeing your eyes. Unlimited local (on-device) recognition: Available to all users with no usage limits. Use cases: Menus, medication leaflets, shipping labels, books and newspapers, meeting materials, and more. Free vs. Pro (In‑App Purchase) AI recognition (cloud-based) Free users: Up to 3 AI recognitions per day. Pro (requires purchase): Includes an additional 400 AI recognitions, and the daily limit of 3 AI recognitions still applies. Local (on-device) recognition All users: Unlimited.
