Regime is a text-driven political crisis game. You are in charge for a full term, not as a cartoon villain or a puzzle hero, but as a leader juggling trust, money, control, and the country’s place in the world. Each turn presents a situation drawn from a large library of cases: cities in collapse, currency crashes, cyberattacks, election disputes, alliances breaking, and more. You respond with concrete choices. Your Public Trust, Economic Stability, Global Standing, Resource Pool, and Control Level shift accordingly. Let any of them hit zero, and your time in office ends badly. Before the crises stack up, you name two advisors, military, science, economics, or diplomacy, who quietly bend a subset of outcomes. Random events can interrupt a turn with a supply raid, a mass protest, a scientific leak, or a diplomatic insult, so no two runs feel identical. The inaugural address sets the tone. The final decision shapes what you leave behind: centralized power, devolution, a handoff, or something harder to undo. When the term ends, you get a verdict and an ending that reflects the path you took, not a single “correct” win, but a coherent consequence of your tradeoffs.
