What’s New
What's New in v2.0.1 We are constantly working behind the scenes to make Reno Tech Tools faster and more reliable. In this update, we’ve squashed some pesky bugs and made major improvements to project galleries, scanning stability, and offline support. Improvements & New Features: • Lightning-Fast Image Galleries: We completely overhauled how project images and room scans are loaded from the cloud. Galleries now load significantly faster and use far less data, keeping your projects snappy even with dozens of high-res photos. • Apple Watch Enhancements: We’ve modernized the Apple Watch companion app with smoother UI components and better background communication to ensure it stays in sync with your iPhone perfectly. • Smarter Estimation Engine: Behind the scenes, we’ve upgraded our AI estimation and evaluation engine to be even more accurate and resilient when generating quotes. Bug Fixes & Stability: • Fixed "Gray Images" Bug: Resolved a frustrating issue where project thumbnails and photos would sometimes fail to load or appear as gray boxes. • Bulletproof Room & QR Scanning: We’ve hardened the Room and QR Scanners to handle rapid scanning, cancellations, and backgrounding much more gracefully without freezing or crashing. • Better Offline Sync: Fixed an edge case where the app could struggle to recover its network state when waking up from poor cell service areas. Your data will sync reliably the moment you get a signal. As always, thank you for using Reno Tech Tools! If you run into any issues, please reach out to our support team.
