**Rooted Chores on the big screen** Chores now fits the device it's on — a tablet in the kitchen, a tablet that belongs to one kid, or a spare tablet on the wall. **Turn a spare tablet into the family's chore wall.** Set it up once and it stops being an app: a column for each child in their own colour, big enough to read across the room, and a kid can tap their chore done on the way past. Unclaimed chores are right there to be picked up, and the wall sleeps overnight on its own. **Give a kid their own tablet.** It opens in their colors, shows only their board, and stops asking for a PIN every time they pick it up — while still asking before they spend their gold. Sharing one tablet between kids works too: hand it over and switch without leaving the board. **See the whole week.** On a tablet, the chores screen now opens on the week your household actually runs — who's doing what, on which day, like the chart on the fridge. Drag a chore from one day to another. Review a chore beside the week instead of on top of it.
