About this app
SafeScan helps you check everyday products—skincare, food, household, baby—against your own health profile. Scan a barcode or snap an ingredient label; get a clear, personalized safety readout in seconds. YOUR BODY, YOUR RULES Allergies, skin type, pregnancy or breastfeeding, conditions, and medications shape how we interpret ingredients. Generic “clean” scores are not enough when the same product can be fine for one person and risky for another. PRIVACY BY DESIGN Your health profile and scan history stay on your device. We don’t send scans to our servers for analysis. Optional iCloud sync uses Apple’s CloudKit tied to your Apple ID. OPTIONAL HEALTHKIT Connect read-only allergy and medication data where you allow it, so your profile stays easier to keep up to date. WHAT YOU GET • Barcode and label scanning with on-device processing • Personalized safety context—not one-size-fits-all ratings • A library of products you’ve checked • Widgets for quick access (where supported) IMPORTANT SafeScan is for education and consumer product awareness. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk to a qualified professional for medical decisions.
