About this app

Create your own virtual high altitude balloon experiment to fly up the the stratosphere with the help of an atmospheric scientist. This activity was designed based upon the work of middle school students and real balloon missions they created, and is part of the suite of interactive lessons developed by the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics with the support of NASA.
