SeedLibrary helps you save seeds true to type — and know when to sow them. It is the heirloom seed keeper's companion: a personal seed shelf, a "Will it cross?" checker, seasonal sow and save reminders on your frost dates, a germination tester, and an AI seed coach, all with no account and nothing tracked. WHY SEEDLIBRARY Most garden apps tell you when to plant. SeedLibrary answers the question that stops people from saving seed at all: "if I save this, will it come back true?" Get a per-variety, this-garden answer backed by real isolation-distance and seed-saving data. YOUR SEED SHELF Catalog the seeds you actually own — variety, source, quantity, packed-for year. Add custom varieties the library doesn't cover yet. Export your whole collection to CSV. "WILL IT CROSS?" CHECKER Pick two or more varieties you're growing and get an estimated crossing-risk verdict, the isolation distance to keep a line pure, and the simplest way to do it — timing, caging, bagging, or hand-pollination. Every verdict is labeled an estimate, never a guarantee. SEASONAL REMINDERS ON YOUR FROST DATES Pick your USDA zone (no location permission needed) and get local notifications when it's time to sow, let a crop bolt for seed, dry-cure, or retest old seed. GERMINATION TESTER Start a quick viability test, count the sprouts, and keep a per-variety history so you know what to plant, retest, or replace. AI SEED COACH Ask practical sowing and saving questions about any crop. The coach gives suggestions and estimates drawn from seed-saving tradition — never legal, biosecurity, or food-safety authority.
