About this app
NBA and MLB player projections, built on real game context — not static averages or recycled narratives. Most tools run on season averages and hot takes. StatMotive takes a different approach: we combine historical performance with the context that actually moves a player's night — matchups, usage, rest, ballparks, and lineup dynamics — to produce one calibrated projection per player, with a confidence range, refreshed as the day's information changes. One model philosophy. Now across two sports. NBA — scoring, rebounding, playmaking, and defensive stats, plus composites like points + rebounds + assists. Every player on the slate, refreshed through tip-off. MLB — pitcher strikeouts, hits, walks, innings, and outs; batter hits and combos. Built for how baseball actually plays: pitchers and batters modeled separately, with ballpark and lineup effects built in. What makes it different: Real game context over static averages — matchup, role, rest, and recent form, not just season numbers. Checked against real games — every projection is scored against what actually happened, and the model learns from its own results, player by player. Recalibrates automatically — when a starter is scratched or a lineup posts, affected projections update. Transparent by design — a confidence range and a track record you can see. No hot takes, no certainties. StatMotive is not a betting service. We provide analytical tools and player projections based on historical data and game context — no betting advice, recommendations, or guarantees. Model first. Data forward. Now for NBA and MLB.
