About this app

See a recipe worth keeping? Send it to Thyme. Share from a cooking website, Instagram, TikTok, Apple Notes, or another supported app. Thyme turns it into a clean recipe with ingredients, directions, and a photo when you're ready to cook. No sign-up. No account. Everything you save lives on your device and your own iCloud, and your cookbook never locks. YOUR COOKBOOK, BEAUTIFULLY KEPT Recipes arrive clean and organized: ingredients as a checklist, directions as steps, photos included. Add your own notes right on the recipe. Scale servings up or down. Moving from another recipe app? Import your whole collection in one file. SHARE A RECIPE Some recipes are too good to keep to yourself. Send a recipe to a friend or group chat and it arrives as a beautiful card, photo and all. One tap adds it to their cookbook. Tags travel too, so you can even start a family recipe collection together. COOK MODE Big type for busy hands, step timers, and a screen that stays awake while you cook. UP NEXT Tap the fork and knife on any recipe to add it to your cooking queue. It’s a loose plan for the week without the meal-planning homework. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Rediscover an old favorite with Recipe of the Day, or jump back into something you recently viewed. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No sign-up and no Thyme account. Your cookbook is stored on your devices and syncs through your private iCloud. FREE AND FAIR Keep up to 100 recipes free. Upgrade to Thyme Pro for an unlimited cookbook, with annual and one-time options available. Thyme is an independent app designed and built in California. Your support keeps the stove on. What’s New

Version 1.3 Aug 17, 2026

Some recipes are too good to keep to yourself. • Share recipe cards. Send any recipe to a friend or group chat and it arrives as a beautiful card, photo and all. If they have Thyme, one tap adds it to their cookbook. If they don’t, we’ll point them our way. • Start a family cookbook. Your tags travel with your recipes. Tag one “Kim Family Recipes” before sharing, and everyone can start building the same collection in their own cookbook. Someone has to start it. • Plus a pinch of fixes and polish throughout.
