About this app

Thousand Oaks Dial-A-Ride (TODAR) offers a convenient, affordable, and personalized origin-to-destination shared ride service designed for seniors aged 65 and older, as well as individuals with an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) card. This service is available to eligible residents within the City of Thousand Oaks, Westlake Village, Agoura Hills, and the unincorporated areas of Newbury Park, Oak Park, Ventu Park, Lynn Ranch, Rolling Oaks, Hidden Valley, and Lake Sherwood. Enjoy seamless transportation for your daily needs—all trips must take place within the respected service area. Operating hours are tailored to fit your schedule, with service available on weekdays from 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and weekends from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The fare is $4.00 each way. You can pay your fare directly to the driver on board—just remember to bring the exact amount, as drivers cannot provide change. Additionally, one-way prepaid DAR tickets can be conveniently purchased at the City Transportation Center, City Hall Finance Customer Service, or the Goebel Adult Community Center. Our fleet of ADA-compliant vehicles is fully equipped to accommodate mobility devices, ensuring every passenger can travel comfortably. Our friendly drivers are trained to assist with boarding and exiting the vehicle, as well as securing your mobility device for a safe journey.
