TorchPhoto turns photos and videos stored on your own server into a private gallery you can browse comfortably on iPhone and iPad. Add a NAS or personal server with FTP, SFTP, SMB, or WebDAV, keep your existing folder structure, and explore each folder visually instead of digging through a file list. Uploading or backing up media to a server is useful, but finding those memories again should be just as easy. TorchPhoto is built for that second half of the workflow: fast thumbnails, album-like folder browsing, original file access, iPhone uploads, Shortcuts automation, offline thumbnail review, and private viewing without moving your library to a separate cloud service. 1. Added Timeline Search. You can now search by file name as well as photo and video metadata, including EXIF and IPTC. 2. Combine filters such as date, file size, resolution, altitude, and capture information. Frequently used filter combinations can be saved as presets. 3. Expanded metadata scanning and improved reliability and progress reporting when scanning large libraries. 4. Refined the Timeline Search interface and transitions, and added clear icons for Year, Month, Day, and Location views. 5. Fixed an issue where canceling folder or full thumbnail generation could make the progress appear complete. 6. Improved cache limit settings for PRO users. Values below current usage are not applied, and the exact usage is shown in MB. 7. Improved support for folder paths, folder names, and file names containing characters from different languages across FTP, SFTP, SMB, and WebDAV. 8. Backups now include extended metadata and search filter presets. 9. Added guidance that backup files can be renamed, but their file extension must be preserved. 10. Additional usability and stability improvements.
