About this app

Roambook is the quiet travel companion — plan the days, log them as they happen, and come home with a story instead of a camera roll you'll never open. PLAN THE TRIP YOU'LL ACTUALLY TAKE Places, stays, food, activities, and notes — each entry gets a day and room for a link or photo, plus an optional place pin. The plan reads like an itinerary, grouped day by day. YOUR ROUTE, DRAWN ON A MAP Every pinned entry joins the trip's route map — numbered pins in your travel order, drawn as you build the plan. Tap the map and it opens full screen, zoomable, the whole journey in one view. It connects optional pins with straight lines, not turn-by-turn road directions. LOG IT WITH ONE TAP When a plan happens, tap its completion control — planned becomes logged with a satisfying stamp and a light haptic. Your journal fills while you travel instead of demanding an evening of homework at the end. TELL YOUR DAY, IN YOUR OWN WORDS On a supported device with iOS 26 and Apple Intelligence, speak or type "morning at the bamboo grove, then the river boat, kaiseki dinner in Gion" — the on-device model makes separate journal drafts for you to review and date. A place field is kept only when all its words appear in your note; review every draft before saving. DRAFT MY DAYS Starting from a blank page? Tell it where you're going and it drafts a day-by-day skeleton across your real trip dates — a starting point you edit, never an itinerary you obey. ASK ABOUT THIS TRIP Ask searches only the selected trip's journal on-device. It is instructed to decline rather than guess when the journal does not support an answer; review every answer. After a decline, your typed question opens in the browser only when you tap Search the web. A TRIP IN NUMBERS Days, entries, photos, mapped places, and the straight-line span between map pins — each finished trip earns a stats card under its cover photo. Your travels become a shelf of small books. BACKUP, RESTORE & EXPORT Free backup puts all trips in one file. After confirmation, restore replaces your current trips with the selected backup. You choose where to save or open that file, including iCloud Drive. Pro adds clean Markdown exports and PDF trip reports; export files leave the app only when you choose where to save or share them. FREE & PRO Free includes up to three trips with planning, journal entries, photos, voice notes, optional map pins, trip reminders, and user-controlled backup and restore. On a supported Apple Intelligence device running iOS 26, three AI uses per calendar month are shared across Tell your day, Draft my days, and Ask about this trip. Roambook Pro is a one-time, non-consumable purchase — not a subscription. It unlocks unlimited trips, unlimited shared AI uses, Markdown exports, and PDF reports. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Trip records are stored on your device. Roambook requires no account and has no Studio AM data server, ads, analytics, or cross-app tracking. Optional place searches use Apple Maps. Backups and exports leave the app only when you choose where to save or share them. After Ask declines to guess, an optional Search the web button opens your typed question in the browser only when you tap it. AI and speech transcription run on-device. Made by Studio AM, a two-person studio in San Francisco. Bon voyage.
