About this app

Trial Guard is a private, manual decision tool for free trials and recurring subscriptions. Add a trial before it converts, add an existing subscription before it renews, or convert a kept trial into a subscription while preserving its history. Every name, date, price, cadence, link, note, and status comes from information you enter and confirm. See upcoming conversion and renewal dates, 7- and 30-day expected-charge context, annualized cost context, decide-by dates, local reminder status, a privacy-safe widget, and Calendar export. Screenshot-assisted capture uses Apple on-device text recognition and requires confirmation before anything is saved. Track up to five active trials or subscriptions free, with unlimited cancelled history. Optional Trial Guard Lifetime is a $4.99 one-time non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited active records and flexible pre-charge reminders. It is not a subscription and does not renew. Restore Purchases is available. Trial Guard does not automatically detect, verify, manage, or cancel subscriptions; sign in to providers; connect banks or email; or guarantee reminders, savings, or outcomes. Confirm charges and cancellations directly with each provider. Data is stored locally; optional private continuity is used only where the signed build and device support it.

Baseline captured. Growth appears after the crawler observes a changed rating count.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
