About this app
The Problem Ever wondered on a hot summer day why it's so cold in the library that you have to wear two sweaters? Without feedback from those who are in the libraries, lecture halls, and seminar rooms, it is hard to get the AC settings right. This means we feel uncomfortable, get a cold in the summer, and waste a lot of energy. The Solution With TrojanSense, you can tell facility management whether you want the temperature to be lower, higher, or stay as it is. This will help to keep you healthy and comfortable, and reduce the carbon emissions generated by our campus. How it Works You tell the app where you are and how you would like the temperature to be adjusted. Your response is aggregated with those of your fellow Trojans and used to regulate the ACs and heating units in the space you are in. Bonus: some of the spaces are now equipped with small beacons which signal to your phone where you are, so that you don't need to manually enter your location.
