About this app
What is "UBEK"? Why does this game look like it was created 30 years ago? It's because indeed, it was! "UBEK" was one of the first Wolfenstein-lookalikes for Commodore Amiga, published in Poland in 1995. These were remarkable times. The '90s saw the birth of 3D graphics in games — what looks clunky today was groundbreaking back then. Developers were experimenting with new ways of visualizing and interacting within three-dimensional worlds, and entirely new genres were just beginning to take shape... The 2025 recreation is built from the same, 30-year old graphics, sound, level maps and code, except for small improvements (listed below) in order to make the game more enjoyable and compatible with modern displays and game controllers. Alternatively, the less orthodox retro gaming enthusiasts can also choose the alternative, enhanced versions of some graphics and sound pieces, provided by DJREMIX!

Improvements: - Optional "Freelook" (that allows you to look up and down) in Control Options. (Purely visual effect, not affecting the aiming) - You can now select your preferred control device and for example play using the touch screen controls even if a keyboard or gamepad is connected (also helps if nothing is connected but the game thinks it is) - Switch between 2 supported languages regardless of you system language (in Display Settings)
