Our startup company (recognised by both Startup Odisha & Startup India) - Sabat Exports Pvt. Ltd. (SEPL) started since 2015 with the vision that every household in the world must have at least one of Odisha's handwoven or handcrafted items! We went global with the premium brand of SEPL called Utkalamrita, co-founded by two women entrepreneur sisters- Dr.Anita Sabat and Amrita Sabat. Over these 8 years, we have increased the incomes of thousands of weaver and artisan households of Odisha, along with reaching the best of Odisha's handwoven Sarees, Fabrics, Dupattas, Salwar Suit Sets, Blouses, Apparel, Furnishing & Specialised Handicrafts to customers across the world, at their doorsteps! We also customise exclusive garments for men, women & kids from Odisha's brilliant handwoven fabrics. We focus on innovativeness every time alongwith sustainable fashion including upcycled apparel & accessories too. Being an ethical handloom brand from the start, we have earned the Authorised User (AU) Certificate of "Orissa Ikat" GI (Geographical Indications) tag since 2018, from Ministry of Commerce, Govt. of India. We also promote best of our Odisha weaves and crafts by participating in national, international and local exhibitions. We have already exhibited at Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, China & in Coimbatore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Goa, Gopalpur, Bhubaneswar etc. We are headquartered at Bhubaneswar and have built the world's first Odisha Handloom GI Store at 650, Sahid Nagar, Bhubaneswar-751007.
