About this app

VinSnipe turns a VIN scan into everything a tech needs to start the job - no more flipping between three catalog sites per car. Point the camera at the door jamb or windshield VIN, or type it in by hand. VinSnipe decodes the vehicle and pulls up: - OEM oil filter part number, plus cross-references for the brands your shop actually stocks - Oil viscosity, capacity (with and without filter change), manufacturer spec, and change interval - Drain plug and wheel lug torque, in both Nm and lb-ft - Engine air filter and cabin filter cross-references - Tire sizes and recommended tire pressure - A/C refrigerant type and fill capacity (growing coverage) - Wheel bolt pattern, center bore, and offset (growing coverage) - Open safety recalls and service bulletins for that VIN No match in the database? VinSnipe searches live and shows what it found, clearly marked as unverified until you confirm it against the vehicle. Works for gas, hybrid, and electric vehicles - EVs correctly skip the oil section and still show tire, wheel, and (where available) A/C data. Free to use: unlimited basic vehicle lookups, always. Your first month also unlocks 20 full scans a day (oil, filter, tire, and torque data) at no cost, no credit card needed. Built for the shop floor: big readable numbers, one-handed operation, and a scan history so you're not re-scanning the same VIN twice in a shift.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
