About this app
Walk Under Trees plans walking routes using tree-canopy coverage—not shadows from buildings. Choose a loop or one-way walk, set how long you want to be out, and compare routes by tree coverage, distance, and elevation. Start where you are or search for a shadier place within a short drive. While you walk, optional turn alerts and spoken directions help you stay on route. Save walks you like, revisit past outings, and sync your walk history with iCloud. Tree-canopy routing is available across the contiguous United States. Shade and walking conditions can change, so stay aware of weather, traffic, closures, and your surroundings. No account, ads, analytics, subscriptions, or in-app purchases. Every feature is free.
