About this app

Every hike has a story — the early start, the weather that turned, the view that made it worth it. Waymark keeps them. Waymark is a hiking journal and log for iPhone. It imports the hikes you record with Apple Watch — or any app that writes to Apple Health — as well as GPX and FIT files, and keeps them as one timeline: route, elevation, heart rate, photos, weather, and your own words. It’s your journal, not a fitness leaderboard. YOUR HIKES, IMPORTED - Apple Health: Bring in hikes recorded with Apple Watch or other apps, with route, heart rate, and energy along for the ride. The past 12 months import free; Waymark Premium brings in your whole history. - GPX and FIT files: Use another watch or app? Import open-format GPX tracks or Garmin™ FIT files, heart rate included. - Manual entries: Hiked without recording anything? Add an entry with its own location, distance, and elevation gain. EVERY HIKE, IN FULL - Key stats: Distance, elevation gain, duration, energy, and average and max heart rate at a glance. - Route and elevation profile: Relive the hike on an interactive map — where you rested, where you pushed, how the trail climbed. - Heart rate zones: See how hard the hike really was. - Your photos: The photos you took on the hike, with your best shots highlighted. - Weather: The day’s conditions appear automatically. - The journal part: Name your hikes, rate them 1 to 5 stars, bookmark the ones that matter, and write down what’s worth remembering. Search by name, place, or note. MULTI-DAY TRIPS Group hikes into one trip for a backcountry weekend or a week on the trail. A trip tallies distance and elevation across its legs, draws every route on one map, and keeps the photos from camp. YEARS OUTDOORS Personal stats for every year and for your whole hiking life: how far you walked, how much you climbed, and the hikes that stand out — highest point, longest day, biggest climb. HIKING PLANS Keep a list of where you want to go next. Search for a trail, import a GPX track, enter one yourself, or turn a logged hike into a plan worth repeating. A plan compares its distance, elevation gain, and steepness against your own journal, estimates your time to finish from hikes you’ve actually recorded, and shows the forecast, month-by-month weather at the trailhead, and the drive to get there. Share it as a GPX track, or as a Waymark plan a friend can open in the app. WORTH SHARING Share a hike with one tap, using designs made for the social app of your choice. Your card can carry a photo or a map, plus the stats from the trail. WAYMARK PREMIUM Waymark Premium builds your complete outdoor history — not just the last 12 months — and unlocks each hike’s insights: the elevation profile against distance, heart rate zones on the map with the hardest push marked, your photos laid along the route, and a personal leaderboard for trails you hike again and again. For plans, Premium adds the journal comparison, the time-to-finish estimate, and the full forecast and monthly weather. Entries you’ve unlocked stay unlocked, even after a membership ends — it’s only fair. POLISHED, AND ON YOUR SIDE Waymark is made by an avid hiker, so it’s opinionated: - Private by design: No account to sign up for. Your data lives in your own iCloud account. - Works offline: Open your entries in the backcountry, jot down your thoughts, and check your route and photos. Sync catches up when you’re back in range. - At home on your iPhone: Waymark has a personality, but the design feels native. - Localized: More than a dozen languages, with local conventions for units, dates, and calendars. - Accessible: Optimized for VoiceOver and Dynamic Type. A lamplight palette keeps the warmth in Dark Mode. ---- Give Waymark a try. Your first entry starts at the trailhead ;)

Baseline captured. Growth appears after the crawler observes a changed rating count.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
