About this app

Weather Ahead reads your Apple Calendar and turns it into a weather timeline. Every event with a location — a hotel booking, a trip, a meetup across town — becomes a stop on a single scrollable list: day by day, place by place, with the forecast for each. ONE TIMELINE Days are sections, places are rows. Leave one city and arrive in another on the same day? That day shows both, each with its own weather, condition, temperature and high/low. TODAY, ANCHORED The timeline opens on today, which always starts with the weather where you are right now. Scroll far ahead and one tap brings you back. NEAR FUTURE — AND BEYOND The next ten days get real forecasts. Past that horizon, trips are grouped by month and show the typical climate for that place and time of year, each one turning into a real forecast as the date comes closer. No dead ends — and nothing pretends to be a forecast when it isn't. TAP FOR DETAIL Any place opens a full day view: an hour-by-hour temperature chart with an Actual / Feels-Like toggle, a precipitation chart, a scrollable hourly strip, and the full picture — feels-like, humidity, dew point, wind and gusts, pressure and trend, visibility, cloud cover, UV index, sunrise, sunset and moon phase. Active weather alerts appear at the top. PRIVATE BY DESIGN No account. No servers. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party SDKs of any kind. Your calendar events are read on-device only and are never sent anywhere. Your location is used on-device only, just for the "where you are now" entry — and granting it is entirely optional; the rest of the app works without it. Only coordinates and dates go to Apple's WeatherKit service to fetch a forecast, exactly as with any weather app. Your event titles, your calendars and your identity never leave your device. OPEN SOURCE Weather Ahead is open source under the MIT licence, so you don't have to take any of that on trust — every network call the app makes is there to read. Requires iOS 26 or later. Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
