Woodlands Trail Guide is an independent, locally-built guide to The Woodlands' 200+ miles of hike-and-bike pathways. Every named segment across all nine villages is on the map, along with the parks, bridges, playgrounds, water fountains, and pavilions you'll pass along the way. WHAT'S INSIDE • 1,500+ named pathway segments across Alden Bridge, Cochran's Crossing, College Park, Creekside Park, Grogan's Mill, Indian Springs, Panther Creek, Sterling Ridge, and Town Center • 3,400+ points of interest from The Woodlands Township GIS • Walking routes between any two points, with optional waypoints • Loop builder — pick a distance (1-8 mi), get an out-and-back route from where you are • Walk or bike mode, with accurate time estimates for either • Prefer-paved-paths routing option — for strollers, wheelchairs, or anyone skipping natural-surface trail • Elevation profile for every computed route • Live turn-by-turn directions with off-route auto-recalculation, and live progress sharing mid-walk • Trail condition reports and wildlife sightings — shared anonymously by nearby walkers, so you know before you go • Personal photos on points of interest (device-only, never uploaded) • Favorites, walking stats, streak tracking, and 11 achievements to earn • Optional sync of completed walks to Apple Health • Search across trails, parks, and amenities • Standard, Hybrid (satellite + labels), and Satellite map styles HOW IT'S BUILT Trail and amenity data comes from The Woodlands Township's public ArcGIS services. Data is bundled with the app for offline use and refreshed over the air when the Township updates. This app is built and maintained independently by a local — not by The Woodlands Township, and not affiliated with or endorsed by the Township. Feedback and issue reports are welcome via the in-app "Report a problem" flow. New: Plan a Route Tell the app how far or how long you want to go — pick a distance (like 5 miles) or a time (like 30 minutes), whether you're walking, jogging, or running, and whether you want paved paths, natural trails, or either. We'll build a loop or an out-and-back to match. Also in this update: • Fixed an issue where starting a walk away from the pathway network (e.g. from your driveway) could scramble your planned route. You'll now see how far you are from the trail and get guided straight there. • Tightened ad content settings.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
