About this app
Word Chain Duel is a clean, modern take on the classic two-player word chain game. One player plays a word; the other responds with a word that begins with the previous word's last letter. Real-time online matchmaking pairs you with an opponent in seconds, with a global leaderboard to climb. GAME MODES • Timed: ~20 seconds per turn, 3 strikes and you're out — pure speed. • Turn-based: play at your own pace, only resignation ends the game — pure strategy. DICTIONARIES • English: ~279,000 words. • Turkish: ~170,000 words, built from TDK sources. • You pick the language at match start; your opponent plays in the same dictionary. FEATURES • Real-time 1v1 online matchmaking — no sign-up, no password. • Play a friend directly with an invite code. • Global wins leaderboard, plus optional Game Center sign-in for your alias. • Score = word length. One letter, one point. Longer word, more points. • No word is allowed twice in a single match. • Offline PRACTICE mode — play against a simple local AI, no account needed. • The required starting letter is highlighted automatically — never lose track of what you owe. • Subtle haptic feedback for your turn, valid moves, and strikes. PREMIUM Free to play, with an optional one-time Premium upgrade that removes ads and unlocks extra color themes and detailed match stats. • No accounts, sign-up, or sign-in (other than optional Game Center). • Ads between games on the free tier (Google AdMob). Quick, focused, two-player — challenge a stranger or a friend.
