Fuel & Range tells you how far you can go and still get home, and now checks a specific leg against your fuel and your reserve policy. LEG CHECK: DOES THIS TRIP ACTUALLY WORK? Enter the charted distance to where you are actually going, choose return-to-dock or one-way, and get a clear answer: safe within your reserve, eating into the reserve, or short on fuel entirely. Not a theoretical maximum a check against the trip you are planning. FOUR RESERVE POLICIES, YOUR CALL Rule of thirds for open water, a quarter reserve for home waters, ten percent for a short familiar hop. Fuel exhaustion is one of the most common reasons boats need rescuing, and the app will not let you plan against zero reserve without a warning. KEEP A BOAT PROFILE Save tank capacity, burn rate and cruise speed for every boat you run, and load them back with one tap. WORKS OFFLINE No account, no signal. These figures assume the burn rate you entered holds for the whole run. A head sea, a foul bottom, extra weight and a punching current all cost fuel. Treat the answer as a planning figure, not a promise. The skipper decides.
