About this app

Note: This client is for use with the AppWorks Gateway 16 release and above. It will not work with any previous version of the AppWorks Gateway. AppWorks allows you to leverage the power of OpenText's market leading Enterprise Information Management applications on your iPhone, iPad and iPod. Connect with your client to an AppWorks Gateway hosted in your Enterprise to install and use the apps you rely on to get your job done quickly and efficiently. Key Features of AppWorks •A single RESTful API for the OpenText EIM stack – a restful API façade and centralized services such as authentication and notifications used to create experience based EIM applications on top of OpenText products and repositories. •Secure application management – Complete control over which users have access to each app, the ability to enable and disable applications remotely and remote-wipe capability which gives administrators the power to remove applications and their data from user devices. •Write-Once application deployment – Applications can be written using standard web technologies (HTML/CSS/JavaScript) and can be deployed to all supported platforms with no need to write native, platform specific code or use custom development environments (IDE). •Customizable look and feel – The AppWorks Clients can be branded and packaged to fit an organization’s needs; the name, icon, splash page, login screen, and color scheme are all configurable. •Seamless application updating – Applications can be updated on the server and seamlessly pushed out to all Clients without any interaction required by the end user. End users have the choice of which apps they want to use and favorite for rapid access.
