About this app

Atum is the smart copy key for your Mac. Press Control + Option + Command + C anywhere. Atum looks at your clipboard, picks the right action, runs it, and swaps the result back onto your clipboard. Copy messy JSON, press the chord, paste prettified JSON. Copy a base64 string, press the chord, paste the decoded text. Copy a Celsius temperature, press the chord, paste Fahrenheit. The Mac just figured out what you wanted and did it. 64 small utilities. One chord. Zero web pages, zero context switches, zero data leaving your Mac. WHAT ATUM CAN DO - Encoders and decoders: Base64, URL, HTML entities, ROT13, hex bytes. - Conversions: hex/RGB/HSL colours, number bases, Unix timestamps and ISO 8601 dates, temperature units, length, weight, volume, currency (cached daily for 30 currencies), bytes, time, angles, speed. - Formatters: JSON prettify, JSON minify, JSON validate, XML format, SQL format, YAML to JSON, JSON to YAML, CSS beautify, HTML beautify. - Generators: cryptographic passwords (configurable length and character classes), UUID v4 and UUID v7, lorem ipsum, random numbers, sample data, QR codes, current date in every format. - Hashes: MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256, SHA-512, HMAC, salted SHA-512 password hash. Hash any string or any file by dropping it in. - Text utilities: case conversion (9 styles), trim whitespace, count characters/words/lines/bytes, reverse text, sort lines (alphabetic, natural, numeric), unique lines, find and replace (with regex), diff two strings. - Validators: regex tester with capture groups, email, URL, IBAN, credit card (Luhn check, never transmitted). - Colour tools: parse and convert across HEX/RGB/HSL/HSV/CMYK, WCAG contrast ratio, dominant colour palette from any image. - Network utilities: local IP addresses, DNS lookup, port checker, ping. HOW TO ACCESS IT 1- The smart copy key: Control + Option + Command + C anywhere. 2- The floating panel: Control + Option + Command + Space. 3- "What did I just paste?": Control + Option + Command + I shows a tooltip near your cursor identifying the clipboard. 4- The menu bar status item: click for One-Tap mode, recipes, recent actions, favourites, and the full action list. 5- The main window: a familiar browse-and-pick app surface with all 64 actions grouped by category. 6- Spotlight Actions tab on macOS Tahoe: every action appears. 7- Right-click Services menu: 29 text actions available in any app. 8- Shortcuts.app and Siri: every action is an App Intent. Say "Hey Siri, base64 encode with Atum" and it works. 9- Bundled CLI wrapper: atum base64 encode "hello" from Terminal. PRIVACY YOU CAN VERIFY Atum collects nothing. No analytics, no telemetry, no tracking, no advertising. The only network call is an anonymous daily fetch of foreign exchange rates from a public API for the Currency Convert action.
