About this app

Pass the California CSLB Law and Business exam with confidence. This app gives you 686 practice questions, 194 flashcards, and realistic timed mock exams, all built from California's own enacted statutes and regulations, and all fully offline. WHY THIS APP Built from California's Business and Professions Code, Civil Code, Labor Code and Title 8 construction safety orders (public domain). The Business Finances topic uses independently authored study material. Every question is explained, so you learn the rule, not just the answer. - 686 practice questions, every one explained - 194 flashcards for the facts you must know cold - Timed mock exams that mirror the real Law and Business exam format - Weak-area review that targets what you keep missing - A readiness score for every topic - Exam facts built in: format, time limit, fees and how to book, checked against official sources A REALISTIC MOCK EXAM The real CSLB Law and Business exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice test of about 115 questions in 3.5 hours, taken on a computer at a PSI test center. The CSLB does not publish a fixed passing score; you are told the percentage of correct answers you need at the test site, and it varies by exam. Practice counts and mock pass marks shown here are study aids, not the official question pool and not an official score. THE EXAM TOPICS - Business Organization and Licensing - Business Finances - Employment Requirements - Insurance and Liens - Contract Requirements and Execution - Public Works - Safety (Cal/OSHA) STUDY YOUR WAY - Works fully offline, no account, no sign-up - Progress stays on your device - One-time purchase, no subscription ABOUT This is an independent study tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), PSI Services, or the State of California. It is based on public domain California statutes and regulations. Official source: https://leginfo.legislature.ca.gov/faces/codesTOCSelected.xhtml?tocCode=BPC

What’s New

Version 1.2 Aug 4, 2026

New in 1.2: - The study bank roughly doubles: 1,232 practice questions (was 686) and 804 flashcards (was 194), 2,036 study items in total. - Every question and flashcard from the previous version is carried over with its wording and answer unchanged. Nothing you have already studied has moved. - The new material comes from the same California statutes and regulations and cites the section it is drawn from. - Coverage of the CSLB blueprint is now stated plainly in the app and on the store page: about 70 percent by weight comes from enacted law, and the parts written from our own study material are named rather than glossed over.
