About this app
GoldScope AI screens gold rings and coins using on-device photo measurement, controlled 15 cm acoustic capture, and physics-backed comparison workflows. Use it to: - weigh the item and run a quick water test for an exact density, shown against 14K to 24K gold and the metals fakes are made from - estimate ring and coin dimensions from photos beside an ID card, license card, or calibration marker - record clean drop or tap audio, with each drop counted live, and view spectrum evidence - see one clear result with how strong each piece of evidence was and what would firm it up - export readable spectrum graph reports GoldScope AI is a screening and comparison tool. It is not a certified assay, appraisal, laboratory test, or guarantee of value or purity. What’s New
GoldScope 1.3 is a redesign built around one question: is this gold, and how sure can you be? • The answer first: a one-line result, how strong the sound, density and size evidence each were, and the one step that would firm it up. • Water test: weigh the item, hang it in a cup of water on the scale, and get an exact density in seconds, with no photo or calipers. The result appears live as you type. • Density ruler: see where your item lands among 14K to 24K gold and the metals fakes are made from, including tungsten. • Live drop count while recording, with a plain reason when a drop doesn't count. • Add a water reading or the size after recording and the result updates without another scan. • Sharper photo measurement for thin ring bands, better handling of long-ringing metals, and many accuracy fixes. • A new look throughout, larger touch targets, and better layouts on iPad and small iPhones. GoldScope remains a screening tool, not an assay.
