Helpful Phone: One Thing

About this app

Your ADHD brain deserves a phone that works with it, not against it. Helpful Phone: One Thing is a minimalist app blocker and single-task focus tool designed for ADHD minds. Block distracting apps with a tap, focus on one task at a time, and take back your attention from endless scrolling. — BLOCK DISTRACTING APPS — • Create custom groups of apps to block — social media, games, news, anything that steals your focus • Set daily schedules or block apps around the clock • PIN-protected unlock prevents impulsive unblocking • Timed unlock with automatic re-blocking after 15+ minutes • Works silently in the background — your blocks stay active even when the app is closed — ONE TASK AT A TIME — • See only your current task — no overwhelming lists, no task paralysis • Complete one task, then move to the next • Import tasks from Apple Reminders • Home screen widget keeps your one thing always visible • Grayscale-friendly, distraction-free design — MADE FOR ADHD MINDS — • Dumb phone mode: turn your smartphone into a boring phone on purpose • Digital detox: unplug from social media and break dopamine loops • No complex settings or steep learning curves • Simple, clean interface that won't overwhelm you — WHY ONE THING WORKS — Traditional productivity apps fail ADHD brains because they add MORE complexity. More lists. More notifications. More things to manage. One Thing takes the opposite approach: → Less choice, more focus → One task visible at a time → Distracting apps locked away → Your willpower backed by technology Start your focus journey today. One thing at a time. Terms of Use: https://helpfulphone.app/terms.html Privacy Policy: https://helpfulphone.app/privacy.html

Bug fix: The unlock button is now always visible when you tap the notification, so you can go straight to entering your PIN and unlocking apps.

Momentum comes from crawler snapshots for the tracked storefront. “Viral growth signal” means unusually fast recent rating gains; it is an indicator, not download data.
