THE OREGANO TRAIL is a loving throwback to the computer-lab classics of the early 1980s — the games you played on a humming beige machine while your teacher thought you were learning. Six-color pixel art, a chunky terminal font, square-wave beeps synthesized the old way, and gentle scanlines. No remaster gloss. The real look, on your phone. YOUR CALLS, YOUR FUNERAL • Pick your profession — the banker rides easy, the farmer earns triple the glory • Outfit your wagon at the general store: oxen, food, clothing, ammunition, spare parts • Set the pace and the rations — push too hard and the trail pushes back • Ford the river, caulk and float, or pay the ferryman — choose wrong and pay dearly THE TRAIL FIGHTS FAIR (BUT IT FIGHTS) • Disease, snakebites, blizzards, hail, thieves, and broken axles — every setback is real and every one can be survived with the right supplies • Warm clothing matters when the blizzard hits.
